Its flatweave means it rolls and folds down small and looks great displayed in baskets, stacks, or casually draped over the bathtub. Butter soft to the touch the linen weave gives it a lovely, gently rumpled finish. Ideal as a gift, also be worn as a scarf or as a sarong for winter travels.

Peshtemals are traditionally loomed on wooden treadle, shuttle and jacquard looms.
The fringing on all pesvhtemals are finished by hand.

When Pesvhtemals are new they may feel course and tight to the touch. This is normal and they will soften over time after they are washed and the natural starch is released from the cotton.

Peshtemals can be used as towels, scarves, wraps, throws, and table linens.
